The Intel® Reverse Logistic Toolkit App offers a streamlined method for retrieving the VisID of Intel® Processors through either the device's camera or photos from the user's library. By scanning the Datamatrix symbol present on the processor, users can easily obtain this unique identifier.

This application enhances productivity by allowing users to email the VisID of single or multiple scanned processors. If users possess a Customer Part Number or Intel® Part Number, they can incorporate this information during the scanning process to generate a CSV file, facilitating warranty claims through the online Electronic Service Request process.

It is important to note that optimal contrast between the Datamatrix symbol and its background is essential for successful decoding. Users are advised to slightly tilt their phones and move them slowly to ensure good contrast and focus, utilizing the in-app flashlight and zoom features as necessary. For photo decoding, it is recommended that the Datamatrix occupies approximately one-third of the image for best results.
